First, convert your vista into an iso image, then use Alcohol 120% virtual drive to open it
Then run Vmware and start a new virtual disk with a space of at least 9GB. Then connect Alcohol 120% to the virtual disk
Don't start installing yet. You need a temporary data swap area ...
